Idaho seeks to keep names of some of Bryan Kohberger trial witnesses secret after ‘harassment, threats, stalking.’ Article notes:
Objections by the State, filed on Monday, said that ‘a number of individuals’ who were associated with the case ‘were identified then subsequently harassed, stalked, and threatened by members of the public.’
Most of the ‘threatening’ behavior, the objection stated, occurred on social media, but reports of certain individuals involved in the trial being ‘physically followed and surveilled‘ came to light.
The US is just an insane nation right now. You can be just living your life and see the wrong thing or be in the wrong place, and next thing you know you are like Will Smith in Enemy of the State.
The big problem is the Domestic Surveillance has gone so far to the outright criminal side, its reveal would trigger an instant civil war in a nation that is armed to the teeth. As a result it needs to go to ridiculous lengths to keep itself secret.
And yet even so, you see it making national news on a regular basis, if you know what to look for.
