Chapter Fifteen – The Stasi Fears Your Gifted Child – The GATE Program

Before we move forward, I must touch on one program being run by the American Stasi, which targets gifted children, as a warning to parents of children with unusual academic abilities.

My mom carried genes for both high functioning in mathematics and, we will say, strong-headedness, which she passed to me. Although she did not know it at the time, she had recounted to me instances which were indicative of surveillance activity, and more puzzlingly, street theater, stretching back to her days as a child.

She would get on a bus as a young girl, back when children could roam freely, and a group of adults would all come on, move to sit around her, and then conduct an overly loud conversation around her, about things going on in her social circles with her friends. She told herself they must have friends with the same names, undergoing the same travails, or maybe they somehow knew her friends, but you could see it didn’t sit right with her. When I was a teenager, and she recounted one such instance, she finished, furrowed her brow, and asked me if I ever felt like strangers around me were having a loud conversation, specifically so I would hear it.

In fact, I had that happen numerous times growing up in school, as the child-Stasi-agents were trying to get me to see some girl or other they were throwing at me as attractive, or to get me to see some behavior as desirable. I could tell the speech of the kids was even rehearsed when this happened. I could even predict when these events would occur, simply through a minute or so of tension which would precede them, as you would see the conversers furtively looking back and forth at each other, as if to get the timing straight, and make sure everyone was ready to begin their pre-rehearsed skit.

At the time these were bizarre events I dismissed as having been mis-observed somehow. Surely there could not be any conspiracy, I told myself. However later, as my surveillance became evident, it became clear, my coverage had begun much earlier than you would think possible in the United States.

My mom was not from a wealthy or powerful family, and one would have thought there was little chance she would have grown up to be of any unusual noteworthiness, save for her intellect and hardheadedness.

I assume it was her targeting which led to mine, as I can distinctly remember being six or seven years old, going out a back door of my house, and seeing several cars suddenly appear and drive both ways on the street behind it, and being puzzled. Cars were rarely on that street. It led nowhere, and there were few houses on it. Yet whenever I went out that door, cars drove in both directions. Even as a small child, I marveled at the bizarre statistical anomaly, before dismissing it as having to be randomly generated, albeit strangely improbable.

The point being, surveillance targeting of special children begins quite early, before they even enter school, and given the American Stasi has been at this for some time, I think it likely they have probably identified that certain people carry genes for the types of things they are concerned about. The American Stasi knows who you are, who your parents were, and who your children are likely to grow up to be.

This means, if a child is gifted, I think it likely the surveillance will have foreseen that child could be gifted, through its genetic ancestry, and they will probably have begun surveillance on the child, and possibly even the parents, going back to before such gifted qualities had begun to manifest, or become evident.

When I entered school, I was placed in the Gifted And Talented Enrichment (GATE) program in elementary school. This was a national program that went by many names across the nation, including the Special Talented Enrichment Program (STEP program), Talented And Gifted (TAG program), and others.

It sounded good at the time – a special program to help gifted children reach their full potential. Of course the school’s job is to make your child as successful as possible, so helping the most gifted reach their potential so they could one day run the nation simply made sense. However, after comparing notes online with others who went through it, it now appears it was just a means by which domestic surveillance could separate out the gifted kids and perform detailed intelligence gathering, on children whom it now clearly appears to view as potential adversaries.

All of the kids in the program who have compared notes online have noted the rooms in which the classes were held either had no windows, or the windows would be papered over so nobody could see into or out of the room. Many have seeming gaps in their memories, and are not able to recall much of what went on in the classes. Some have described taking “talking naps” which were pitched as tools to focus thought and creativity, but which sound suspiciously like hypnosis sessions. Others, myself included, describe what sound like pharmacological experiments, and many describe seeing indices of surveillance coverage persisting into their adulthood, which seem related to their involvement in the program.

In my school, we were given batteries of tests, which at the time our teacher told us were for some friend at a local research college who needed the data for some thesis or other. Most were measuring physical and neurological capability. Eye range of motion, hearing ranges, hand-eye reaction times, hand-ear reaction times, peripheral vision range, and so on.

All were given with special equipment attached to a computer (which was not nearly as common in academic settings back then, given this was before the age of the PC), all of which came in special customized, foam-lined hard cases. I was surprised the school had such extensive specialized testing equipment which had been so carefully produced and packaged, when there were only ten or so of us in the program. Obviously now, that equipment was probably provided free of charge by domestic intelligence, probably under the cover of some benign organization.

Some of the testing was strange. My class was told by the teacher that his friend at the local university was doing a paper on psychic phenomenon, and he needed data, so we were going to do a test of our psychic abilities to help him out, but it was kind of unofficial. However he emphasized everyone knew all psychic phenomenon were fake and not real.

Regardless, for the good of his friend, he implored us to take the testing seriously, and do the best we could as if it were all real, and we had psychic abilities to test. As each of us began the test, he would walk us through a procedure, clearing our mind, relaxing, breathing, focusing, seeing the image he was seeing, and so on.

The test was the classic Zenner card test, where the tester looks at a card with one of five or six images on it, with the back of the card facing the student, and the tested student clears their mind and then tries to read his mind and see what card he is looking at, as he is projecting his thoughts at us.

We were not told how we did, which seemed strange given it was all fake. I expected jokes and prodding over our random scores, but we did the test, and never spoke of it again.

Of course now, having stumbled on forums where other GATE students were discussing their experiences, I find out that the Zenner card test was not being done for the teacher’s friend at the local university. Rather, it was a standardized test which was part of the national program, which all students who were in it, took. None of us were ever told our scores.

Why the teacher felt the need to lie is perhaps the most interesting aspect. He had to test the psychic ability of the students in the class, but he did not want the students to know that was being tested. It implies those running the program at least held out the possibility such phenomenon were real, and as part of a thorough assessment of potential adversaries, they felt they needed to test that.

I now view such gifted programs as just another intelligence-gathering exercise, though a strange one, as it implies the powers that be appear to have some belief in psychic phenomenon, and a concern about any student potentially possessing a psychic ability.

There were other strange aspects to the class. Most kids who were in it seem to remember at some point drinking a pink liquid they were given, in a small paper medication-sized cup with little explanation as to what it was, or why they were drinking this strange concoction.

I do not know if whatever was in the pink liquid was given to my class, or if we were some type of control in an experiment, but I do remember distinctly a hot day we came in from recess, and the teacher had laid out, on a platter with paper on it, the little paper medication cups you see, about half the size of a shot glass, each with a small portion of Welsh’s grape juice in it, which he said we should drink.

We assumed he was serving it as a refreshment, though I remember thinking at the time it was odd all he had were these little cups, as they are so rare compared to regular-sized paper cups. I thought to myself, I would not even know where to go to buy cups like these. It felt like he had to go out of his way to procure an inferior paper cup, and had things been as I was assuming, and he just wanted to offer us a refreshment, it was vastly more likely statistically, that those would have been regular paper cups. The amount of grape juice was also not enough for any sort of refreshment, which seemed strange, but I assumed he had not had enough to offer people real amounts.

You do not really ask questions at that age, or assume hostile action. Now, of course, I wonder whether something was in the grape juice, or if we were some kind of control group for the kids with the pink liquid.

The work we did was really not of any academic use either. We spent almost the entire two years of fourth and fifth grade just reading Greek mythology, with maybe a week-long divergence into Rube Goldbergs, or making popsicle stick bridges here and there.

I place this here as a warning to parents, to not trust their children’s schools, or to blindly accept any program their child is offered is really for their benefit.

The powers that be do not really want your child to become so amazing they can take power themselves one day. They want them limited, and they want to make sure, above all else, they will not pose a threat to the criminals and degenerates which intelligence has installed as controlled assets, running our governmental, private sector, and social power structures.

In fact, they need to suppress your child, for at this point, to lose power to principled, moral leaders would be to consign themselves to death for treason.
